I can't believe another year has come and gone!
2015 had it's ups and downs for me, specially seeing as 2014 ended so badly and had to start last year having to deal with what happened. Not going into details with that, long story short; was a major accident, surgery was involved, and I nearly came close to losing someone who means the world to me.
So yea, I wasn't so sure if last year was gonna be such a good one.
But fortunately I was wrong; the program that I was volunteering at for a year, hired me as a substitute teacher. Which is where all my time has gone to lately and will go to even more this year, due to the fact that I will be covering for a fellow coworker who is moving on to bigger and greater things. (Can't be more happier for her)
I started to get back into more traditional media, which I uploaded a few pieces of here. Others can be found on my tumblr. That also inspired me to try painting more digitally as well.
Went down to see my bestest for a week.
Plan to get her back out to my neck of the woods this year, even if for just a couple days.
Started to stream, and have become a little more comfortable with it.
Goals for 2016?
The major one is to finally get my drivers license. It's kinda silly that I've waited this long to try but I have this fear of taking my life and possibly anyone else's into my own hands with me being behind the wheel. How is this any different than trusting someone else? Well, there isn't, except I'm used to them doing it and can trust they make the right decision. I, on the other hand, am not, and don't always make the right ones in high stressful situations.
BUT I will try and conquer that fear and hope all goes well.
I'm gonna try and stick to drawing one pic of one of my characters at least once everyday. All of them have been terribly neglected throughout the years, some more than others.
More dynamic poses and backgrounds, been playing it too safe lately.
Promised tutorials that have never been done, must be completed.
Open commissions again now that I have a more decent price list thought out.
Speed vids and livestreams need to be more frequent.
So here's to 2016 being a better year for you all!
May you continue to create and be inspired. Make new friends and strengthen the bonds you have with those you cherish.
Remember to stop and appreciate the little things, stay strong, laugh, smile, and always remember there is something worth living for.
That's it for now,
Till next time,
