Scar looked down at his young nephew snuggled into his dark mane, ever so content sleeping in his arms.
He could not help but notice the pure, naive innocence that the cub possessed.

Simba truly loved him.

This is not all the fault of Simba, but of his father, who (after Ahadi died) did not share power with his brother.


And Scar's father Ahadi only really loved his first-born son Mufasa - he neglected poor Taka all his life.
